Road Rage Collisions
Holding Texas Road Rage Drivers Accountable
In a recent nationwide survey, AutoVantage auto club ranked Dallas second among U.S. cities for incidents of road rage. The city also ranked top for drivers talking on their cell phones, cutting off other drivers and tailgating other motorists while behind the wheel.
Statistics like this give Texas drivers a bad name. They should also warn you about the mindset of other people you may meet on the road.

What Are the Road Rage Factors? Fort Worth Road Rage Accident Attorney
Anger is often only the fire that fuels a road-rage incident. Other factors can be involved, including alcohol, drugs and personal problems. Ultimately, however, every driver is responsible for his or her own driving behavior.

Was It ‘Aggressive Driving’ or Road Rage?
The differences between aggressive driving and road rage are subtle, but important. Aggressive driving is a traffic offense, while road rage is a criminal offense.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), aggressive driving occurs “when individuals commit a combination of moving traffic offenses so as to endanger other persons or property.”
By contrast, road rage is defined as “an assault with a motor vehicle or other dangerous weapon by the operator or passenger(s) of one motor vehicle on the operator or passenger(s) of another motor vehicle or is caused by an incident that occurred on a roadway.”
